About the #FFFHEX Catalogues
#FFFHEX (09/2016-09/2017) was a contemporary art gallery in the small town of Mathews, VA on Virginia’s rural middle peninsula. The gallery presented rotating exhibitions of painting and sculpture featuring work by local, national and international artists. The gallery’s name #FFFHEX plays on the graphic designer’s hexadecimal colors, referring to the “white cube” philosophy of presenting artwork in a dedicated environment that is free from distraction.
Airprint Press has produced a series of exhibition catalogues documenting #FFFHEX exhibitions. The books were released in March, 2018.
